Welcome to Sphynx Haven  - Premier Don and Canadian Sphynx Cattery

SPHYNX HAVEN is a registered cattery in TICA (The International Cat Association) and GCCFI (The Governing Council of the Cat Fancy of Ireland). We have been awarded The Outstanding Cattery Status by The International Cat Association. Our cats and kittens take part in cat shows on a regular basis, and we also strongly encourage new owners to show these beautiful cats.

People often believe that the lack of fur (hairlessness) in the Sphynx breed makes them a complicated breed to care for. This is not the case. Sphynx are not hard to look after – they need a bath once a week, nails clipped, ears and eyes cleaned. Not as much grooming as you may expect.

We only breed high standard Canadian and Don Sphynx that can be traced back 5 generations. It is important because you can track that they come from a healthy, sound background.

Kittens are ready to go to the new homes not earlier than 14 weeks of age, when they are fully vaccinated, de-wormed, micro-chipped, neutered, litter trained and socially adapted.
Our Canadian Sphynx are GCCFI and TICA registered, our Don Sphynx are TICA registered, and all registration papers are provided on adoption.

We are responsible breeders and the health of our cats and kittens is very important to us. All adult cats are routinely screened and negative for FIP (feline infectious peritonitis), FIV (feline HIV), FeLV (feline leukaemia), Clamydia, Corona virus and HCM (heart cardiomyopathy). Every cat and kitten leaves us with fully up to date vaccinations.

As we are friends with Royal Canin, all kittens leave our nursery with New Owner Kitten Recommendation Packs from Royal Canin.

We love our cats and we only allow kittens to go to loving and caring new homes. Please feel free to contact us at Sphynx Haven Cattery, and come and see for yourself our beautiful Canadian Sphynx and Don Sphynx cats and kittens, with no obligations to buy. Sphynx crave for attention and love to meet new people so they will be very glad you called!
